Much learning, quite a bit of fellowship, and fun was had by all at the 96th annual Carolinas District Convention at the Hilton University Place in Charlotte, NC.
We had 203 Kiwanians and 50 guests register with 174 delegates and 22 delegates-at-large representing 90 clubs.
The following were elected to serve on the board:

Division 20 Lt. Governor Bobby Kilgo, Darlington

The following people ran for office and the region and/or division held a caucus to elect them, however, there was no quorum. Therefore, Governor-Designate Les will appoint the person elected by each caucus and the board will approve the appointment on the September conference call.
Please contact the district office (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than 5:00 pm on September 7, 2016 if you would like to contest an appointment. If you contest an appointment, the district office will need you to send in writing the reason since every Kiwanian in each division and region had the opportunity to put their name into nomination BEFORE the district convention.
