    How do I access the Members Only area of this website?
    The username and password for the Members Only section are one and the same...your club's key number with a small k in font of it.
    For example: Username: k00123 Password: k00123

    Is there a dues increase for the 2007-08 year?
    There will be no dues increase.

    What are the costs for dues?
    The amount per member due to Kiwanis International is $81.90.
    The breakdown on this amount is:

    Since clubs now pay annual dues, when does my club pay?
    All dues will be paid yearly now. The time frame for when you pay your annual dues is based on your Club's anniversary date.
    If your club chartered September through December, Kiwanis International sent the Membership Roster to your Club Secretary on September 1. The Secretary is supposed to make changes to this roster (new member adds and deletes) up through September 30 and return it to Kiwanis International by October 10. Kiwanis will then send your club a bill reflective of the returned roster. The payment is due no later than December 31.

    If your club chartered January through April, KI will send the roster by December 1. The cut off date for members is December 31, due back to KI January 10. Once they send out the bill, it is payable no later than March 31.

    If your club chartered May through August, KI will send the roster by February 1.. The cut off date for members is February 28, due back to KI March 10. Once they send out the bill, it is payable no later than May 31.

    What are the requirements for 2006-07 Distinguished Kiwanian?
    The requirements for Distinguished Kiwanian for 2006-07 were set by Kiwanis International and are as follows: What are the requirements for 2006-07 Distinguished Club?
    Please refer to the AWARDS section in the Members Only area of this website for an extensive listing of the 2006-07 Distinguished Club Criteria. Kiwanis International calls them the Achievement Criteria.

    What are the requirements for Kiwanian of the Year?
    Requirements for Kiwanian of the Year are set by the Club President with approval by the club's board of directors. Please ask your current Club President.

    How can I access information on all the clubs in my division?
    Access the Members Only site.
    The first button in the top left-hand corner, Online Directory, will give you information on the current year's officers.
    Just put in your division number (no zero's in front of the number: just "4", not "04")and click "View Clubs".
    You will then be given each club in the division's meeting place with the time and date of the meetings.
    At the bottom of each club's information is a button that says "View Officer Info for 06-07". If you click on this button you will then get the club officer information.

    Club Secretaries

    How do I add, delete, or send a change of address on a member?
    You will need the "Kiwanis Membership Information" Form. This form is available from Kiwanis International. You can download a copy of this form at classic.kiwanis.org/lit/forms/. Once you complete this form, please send it to KI for their records. However, the District Office does not need a copy of this form as we do not update membership information.

    I need more Membership Information Forms. Where do I get them?
    You can download a copy of this form at classic.kiwanis.org/lit/forms/ or call 800-KIWANIS (800-549-2647).

    When is the Carolinas District Monthly Report due?
    The monthly report form is due by the 10th of the month following the report month. For example, September's monthly report is due by October 10th.

    How can I update the Officer Information?
    Enter the members only section.
    Choose the Utilities button on the left-hand side of the site.
    Changes can be made by clicking the "Update Club Information" or "Update Officer Information".

    Club Presidents

    To whom do I send foundation donations?
    There are two different foundations - the Kiwanis International Foundation and the Carolinas District Foundation.

    Kiwnanis International Foundation donations need to be sent to:
    Kiwanis International Foundation, 3636 Woodview Trace, Indianapolis, IN 46268

    Carolinas District Foundation donations need to be sent to:
    Stan Perry, Carolinas District Foundation Secretary/Treasurer, PMB 321, 10120 Two Notch Road, Ste 2, Columbia, SC 29223

    How much is each foundation requesting?
    Each year these amounts change. And the amounts also change if you wish to become a distinguished club. However, a good amount to go by is $3-$5 per member (based on the number of members on October 1 of each year) or no less than $100.

    Key Club Advisors

    How can my club reinstate our Key Club?
    Collect dues for a minimum of 15 members for the current year. A club cannot reactivate with less than 15 members. You must have the contact information and year of graduation for each student. 2006-2007 year dues are $11.00 per member. Include your name and contact information as well as the school advisor.

    Have the Kiwanis Club write a letter that states they wish to continue to sponsor the Key Club. They also must send in a $100.00 check that is a re-instatement fee.

    All of this (dues, roster, letter and $100.00 fee) should be sent together to Key Club International, 3636 Woodview Trace, Indianapolis, IN 46268. They will process the request, and that should get you club back on track.
